Hunting Infomation

Deer

We've got plenty of deer! And good ones, too!  We do not charge trophy fees.  We feel like a person should be able to go hunt and enjoy the outdoors at a reasonable price and not have to worry about how much extra squeezing the trigger will cost.  If you kill an average deer or a 150+ class, the price is the same.  Hunters are allowed to take one 6-point or better buck, one doe (before January 1st), and one wild hog each day.  We do charge extra for bucks that are less than 6-points.  Our deer hunts are by reservation only.  Children 14 and under may accompany a paying adult free of charge.  Guides are available upon request for an additional charge.  Be sure to bring a camera! Wild turkeys, hawks, as well as other wildlife are abundant.

Wild Hogs

From March thru September we still have wild hog hunting.  Hog hunting is exciting and very rewarding.  Wild hog meat is fantastic!  There is almost no "wild" taste; it's generally leaner than domestic pork but fatter than venison.  We only hunt from ladder and ground stands.  Most stands are setup so that you can hunt with a bow, crossbow, handgun, rifle, or shotgun.  Our hunts are morning, afternoon, and sometimes night!

Quail

We provide a guide, excellent dogs, good flying birds, and a fantastic location.  Why not try a split day with quail hunting in the morning and deer hunting in the afternoon. During March, we can do a combination quail and wild hog hunt.  There is a 3 person minimum.  You are also welcome to bring your own dogs if you'd like, we'll be glad to get the birds ready for you.  Please see the pricing page for more info.

Ducks

We offer duck hunts over a flooded corn field and in standing timber.  We usually kill mixed bags of mallards, gadwalls, teals, and woodducks.  These are  unguided hunts.  You can bring your dog if you like.    We always have some fantastic shooting opportunities.

Doves

Alabama has very generous limits and we have plenty of doves.  We now have hunts from September thru January.  Our hunting areas are planted with corn, sunflowers, grain sorghum, peas,  and browntop millet.  We should have plenty of shooting opportunities during both the first, second, and third season.  Since we have a limited area to hunt, our hunts are by reservation only.  We are family friendly. Absolutely, no alcohol or foul language allowed!   Call for group rates for 10 or more hunters.
